For the most part, very nice stay and love the taste of the food….Loved that! I didn’t like when arrived and I went to the restaurant for lunch. I arrived at 3:30 at the restaurant and the Dominican girl didn’t welcome us. Instead, she sent us to the snack bar. She said the place was closed for food and in reality it was not the time. The place for lunch closes at 3:45. I said I was going to report her. And immediately she let us in for lunch. That was not nice at all. Thank you for having the place so clean.

Average stay. I was there for a week. Waited 3 days for staff to fix my leaking AC. Had to place towels down daily for the dripping water. On day 4, maintenance came and fixed the AC. Staff in buffet restaurant were not friendly. Only the greeter for the buffet and bartenders were friendly. The food is average.

There are pros and cons with the party but let me start with the pros: beautiful beach, food was great and plenty of options for younger kids to eat , drinks were mediocre but nothing you wouldn't expect from an all-inclusive. Now the cons: customer service is just ok. There are just a few staff members who actually love their jobs and are great and others who are just plain nasty. Jorina front desk as I checked out just looked unfriendly and not even a " thank you I hope you enjoyed your stay". She took the towel cards and printed my receipt after I asked her for one and didn't say anything after that. Kennedy also gave my son a hard time going into the teen zone to play a little basketball (even though there was no one in there). It's a ridiculous policy to not allow kids to come in. I have a well behaved 6 year old who was bummed out. The kid's Beach Club is a babysitting club that also restricts kids from just coming in to play. Its more of a drop your kid off so parents can get drunk, I was not about to leave my kid. The kid's pool needs more maintenance and it smells moldy and dirty. The general pool is too deep for smaller kids to have fun so definitely not kid-friendly. Pool bartender I am not sure of his name but his attitude sucked. Please hire a more customer service oriented staff!

There are not many resorts that I would visit again for various reasons but I would definitely come back here. The staff are truly friendly and accommodating. I had a great vacation here and look forward to returning when Sint Maarten upgrades their airport because standing on line for immigration in the heat is not it. This resort met all of my needs and I’m happy I chose it.

Food was just okay as there are a bunch of options to pick from. Breakfast buffet is the best thing. Biggest mistake was not booking ocean point abd staying away from all the kids. Room was really bad. AC did not work and we called someone up to check on it and even after he changed the temp still was not cold enough. Sheets were dirty as well as stains on the wall (not sure what they were) overall 7 out of 10. Would try the adults only ocean point if I ever came back

Room was not that clean, one of the day I stayed, I have to asked to clean it otherwise they would have not clean it Toilet bowl was black, apparently not well cleaned for months or years… I asked to be cleaned and they did but obviously you can tell they cleaned but it has been like for too long to be able to be cleaned at one time

There is a club attached to the hotel and the music is loud and it plays till 4 AM. The staff at the hotel we’re not helpful with the situation. The hotel is dirty, noisy, and poorly run. I do not recommend, strongly do not recommend!

Everything went well, the staffs are very nice and helpful. The only thing that I didn’t like, I went to eat with my children the employee took us to the table and never come back. We had the food to eat, but no ustensiles at the table, no water. I had to ask another employee to help me out.

Overall great experience, however I have heard St. Maarten is the friendly island this is not something we experienced at this resort. The staff seemed very dissatisfied, not super customer focused this is primarily in the buffet, the shops on sight and some of the bar tenders. Not what I was expecting and I heard from local guests (people who live on the island) not to rate my St.Maarten experience on this resort because it does not represent the st.Maarten people.

It was super amazing they were kind it was my husbands birthday and he had and awesome time. The spa was top tier that’s massage was everything the masseuse that I had was so nice she even made me cry for how awesome she was . Everything in this hotel was gear made some new friends I will be back

We could not sleep. There is a club that we had no knowledge of near the backside of the hotel. From approximately 11 pm to 4 am heavy base music was playing Friday night. How the Sonesta can make a reservation without informing its guests of this issue is completely unacceptable. We will be contacting the Sonesta to try and get our money.

The property was beautiful and perfectly located with things to do in the area. All of the staff was courteous, friendly and very helpful. The food and the choices was really great also. There was nothing negative I can say about my stay at Sonesta Maho Casino and Beach resort. I would definitely come and stay again.
