Loved the staff and had a very nice room - there is also a beautiful lobby and bar/restaurant

Room was lovely and clean. Bed was comfy.

Beautiful hotel, great amenities, there was even a washing machine in the bathroom.

Nice location which allows you to walk into the centre of Dusseldorf via the river promenade. Well located within the Mediahafen which has plenty of restaurants and bars to keep you busy. The room was spacious, clean and modern. Car parking also available under the hotel.

The room is very spacious and comfortable. Couldn’t connect to the WIFI but other than that a lovely well situated hotel.

The hotel is a short metro ride away from essen. Unfortunately this stops at 23.00hrs so its a taxi or walk 45 minutes to get back. The area has good facilities with several pubs and restaurants within walking distance. The staff at the hotel are brilliant and room we had was ideal for our needs. Clean and tidy with a small kitchen area and a balcony. Excellent value for money.

Staff was brilliant

Room was spotless; staff brilliant & helpful. Breakfast was continental with cooked eggs & pancakes; beautifully set out and plenty of it despite the hotel being very full while we were there. Potential lack of seating if everyone ate all together but we were warned & could flex to later. Able to take back to your rooms if you’d rather. Parking was set €12 per day with first 2 hours free. Would use again / recommend

The room was very spacious and clean. Food and dinning experience excellent. The staff are all very curtious, polite and helpful. My second time here at the Van der Valk and wouldn't book anywhere else particularly for the concerts at the Dome.

Felt very upmarket

Loved the Room I was staying in! The rooms were absolutely clean i felt at home right away. Breakfast was lovely! Only thing I would suggest is... I wasn’t told that the breakfast was at a cost of €9 a day. When arrived I was told that breakfast was included which made me think; breakfast was part of the price I paid . Overall my experience at Hotel Conti was great. Will defo stay again. Thank you. X
