"This was our first stay at at the Halifax Hall Hotel. We were made to feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The reception staff were really friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and spotlessly clean, with a very large bathroom. It was near reception but we never heard a sound during the night. "I’ve stayed here before and will definitely stay again but only because it is convenient. The room was far too hot, and I remember it being hot when I stayed before. It does make for an uncomfortable nights sleep. There were some idiots banging doors and shouting down the corridor at 3am, not the hotels fault but it did frustrate an already uncomfortable night. The staff were not particularly welcoming. I get like a disturbed their conversation when I checked in rather than feeling welcomed....
