Love's Touch at R Applegate Family Farm

Enjoy the sounds of nature at this unique resting spot, built in 2022. We are less than 20 mins from Fort Knox Main Gate and 30 mins from Louisville Intl Airport. Whether you are dipping a line in the pond, watching the sunset from the dock, or searching for geodes by the brook, you'll be able to step away from the busyness of life and take a deep breath of country air. Although the bed space is typical for 5 guests, we can supply a twin air mattress and linens for a 6th guest for a small fee if requested.

It was even better than the pictures. They thought of everything you could need for your stay, even a small sewing kit and first aid kit. Very clean and quiet. One of the best vrbo's I have ever stayed at. If I was ever in the area again, I would stay here again.

This property was absolutely amazing. We rented it for my mother’s 50th birthday dinner. The owners are so incredible and kind. The property is gorgeous and completely the whole experience exceeded my expectations. We will be back very soon!

Everything was perfect!

We stayed here for a short stay to attend an event at Fort Knox. It was a close stay, 20 minutes away from the base. The house was immaculate & stocked with some extras too! Peaceful & quiet place. We hope to return in a few years for another Fort Knox event. Much thanks to David for such a wonderful stay.

Fort Knox Gem and still close to Louisville fun

This place is great! We chose this location because of its proximity to Louisville and Fort Knox for our daughter’s CST graduation. 5 adults stayed and were very comfortable. Highly recommend for families attending graduation but still want to site see or go hiking. Kitchen was perfectly appointed and the front porch swings were great for morning coffee. Walmart was close to stock up for meals and snacks. Loved this place. The nicest VRBO we have stayed in.
