But there’s plenty to enjoy inside this beautifully presented 2-bedroom home from home that features brand new (2023) flooring, plus a new kitchen and bathroom suite. If you like an upscale family-friendly home with granite and marble everywhere and you want genuinely stunning views, this beautiful place is for you. SINGLE LEVEL HOME This is a step free, one floor home, granting guests easy access to all areas, which makes moving around easy for younger guests and people with mobility issues. THE LIVING ROOM For those occasions when you’re not making the most of the wonderful nature all around you, the living area features twin blue couches gathered around a coffee table. It’s a great place to make plans for your next adventure, and to watch the large flatscreen TV. Even bigger is the freestanding full length mirror that’s great for perfecting your look just before you head out! Pet friendly. Clean. Nice kitchen with appliances like a Keurig coffee machine, regular coffee pot, air fryer, and blender. Beds were not the most comfortable and neither was the furniture. The smell though doesn’t go into the house. The cushions for the deck furniture was sitting in a container that had water in it. We set them out for a day and let the sun take care of that. Just there to sleep and shower, basically. I will say that this place works well for the basics! A clean place to stay, ample parking, with a kitchen and bathroom. I should also note some feedback for improvement- the couches and chairs in the living/dining space all had stains of some sort. Possibly food? There were no throw blankets which made the living room less cozy and inviting (especially because we were there when it was really cold in the mornings and I wanted to enjoy a hot tea on the couch while waking up). The back door didn't lock fully- the alarm on the wall kept saying it wasn't locked. Both fire alarms were beeping when we entered so we had to take out the batteries to keep them from chirping. There was no hand soap in the bathroom, so I borrowed some from my aunt. I think I'd stay here again if I needed to, but I'd have to come prepared with extras to make it more comfortable for me, personally. ##### Chelsea D. The deck is 100% amazing and seeing riverboats, barges, party boats and even 3 eagles was great! The house is a little small, but we spent most of the time outdoors anyway. Great spot! ##### Kris B. The kitchen is well equipped and the beds are very comfortable. We’ve always been wildly active on vacation but are learning to relax. Watching the river from the brand new deck helped slow us down in a good way. The host was very communicative and helpful with any questions. I was hesitant bc of small number of reviews bc it’s new to the rental market, but took a leap of faith and it worked out well! ##### Jean S. I expected quirky but not shabby. Under remodeling with paint pealing in entrance and all outside walls. Painting supplies and other materials in the entryway. Dirty windows. Understocked kitchen. Wouldn't sit on couches- they would not be accepted at Goodwill. Deck was marvelous but without a tree needs an umbrella, Needed to clean the deck of leaves on arrival with an inadequate broom. Second day someone used a leaf blower very early in the morning. Tried to contact the owner but got no response. Too much money for what we received. ##### Pete E.
