Nice

Posted 05-Mar-2016
Pros: Super friendly staff! Indoor pool.
Cons: Either clean the carpets better or replace them. Visible carpet stains in the hallways.
Location: Next to highway, but a small distance from most eating places. Small quaint town. Next to river and close to Louisville.
Due to nearby construction it was difficult to find. Also the town is small and most of the eateries are not nearby.

Louisville Business Travel

This hotel is centrally located in Louisville and just a short walk or drive to the 4th Street area. The breakfast (included) offers a variety of choices, and it is nice to have a bar in the lobby for convenient, evening relaxation. I must admit I was not a fan of the newly added $6 fee for parking.

Close to downtown Louisville

Nice staff. Accommodations about what I expected for a Fairfield Inn. Only complaint is my room was right next to the elevator and I could hear it, (very, very, loud) running up and down all night. Was quiet for about 3 hours and that was all the sleep I got. Hotel was packed and because we arrived late that was the room I was stuck with.

Walking distance to Ohio River and restaurants

Posted 02-Jan-2016
Pros: The location was perfect, it was clean, and they served breakfast.
Location: I walked to the Ohio river walking pathways with amazing views of the Louisville skyline, the Big Four bridge at night, and lots of restaurants.
This hotel was clean, the room was spacious, and the location was perfect. It was within walking distance to the restaurants and walking path along the Ohio River with great views of Louisville. It was also easy to get on and off the highway.

Wonderful location for a weekend getaway with the family. I was thrilled with the ability to get in a great breakfas. We got in some great sights while exercising. Loved being able to take the Big Four Bridge across the Ohio into Louisville. We also found some great restaurants just a block away with a night view of the city. We also hiked around The Falls of Ohio at sunset. We will be back again.

Pretty decent place

Rooms were cleanly kept and breakfast was alright. Only issue was the power went off while we were in the middle of breakfast and stayed off about 2 hours. Probably nothing the hotel could have done about it but they didn't not apologize or give us any sort of explanation of why it had went off and that affects their rating in my opinion. If they didn't knock any off the stay for the inconvenience it caused, at least an apology would have sufficed

Thank you for letting us know about your stay. I appreciate the feedback. The power went out on the whole block. This was outside of our control but I apologize for the inconvenience. I am sorry my staff didn't apologize at the time of the event but I think they were a little overwhelmed with a pregnant lady stuck in the elevator. Thanks again for staying with us.

Thank you for taking the time to complete a survey in regards to your recent stay at the Fairfield Inn & Suites Louisville North. As we pride ourselves on delivering a memorable hotel experience during your travels, we have unfortunately fallen short of our goal during your recent stay. Please accept our sincere apology for the power outage as it was outside our control. It was actually out on our entire block. I am sorry my staff wasn't more empathetic but I think they were a little overwhelmed because there was a pregnant lady stuck in the elevator. My staff and I have struggled for the last several years with little to NO capital investment in our property. The good news is we have anew owner and the property will undergo a FULL Marriott Renovation in Jan 2016. We are beyond thrilled to finally have a product that we can be proud of. We have shared your feedback with the appropriate hotel team to ensure that this was an isolated issue that is corrected moving forward. Upholding our commitment to provide a memorable experience with exceptional service, we hope to have an opportunity to better your experience with us whenever your travels bring you back to Jeffersonville. Sincerely,
