The large bay window provides a view into the rustic fruit, flower, and vegetable garden right outside. The suite is tucked away from the busiest parts of the city, perfect for a hub in the middle of some of the best attractions NorCal has to offer: SF, Carmel, Pebble Beach, Monterey, Santa Cruz, and more. The comfy bed and beautiful old-town neighborhood add to the warm, homey feel. While the space is listed as a guest suite, we want our guests to know that they are sharing our home. The lower level of our house is separated from the rest of the house by blackout curtains and is allocated for guest use only. The towels are soft and fluffy. The bed in the master bedroom is comfortable. There's an iron and ironing board as well as a hair dryer. The restaurants and shops of Los Gatos are an easy 30 minute walk away through beautiful neighborhoods if you want to leave your car behind. My only complaint is that the listing says there's a kitchenette, but what that means is that there's a fridge, a microwave, and a coffee maker. You will need to do the dishes in the bathroom sink. So, I'll keep this brief. The place was as described: neat, clean, and comfortable. There were a few problems related to noise (I could hear the owner walking around in the night and early morning, which kept me up) as well as the numerous signs around listing the numerous rules that made me a little uncomfortable. In addition, the walk into town can be quite pleasant, but I tried walking back at night and it was very dark. If you stay here, definitely rent a car or only walk during the day.
