The Nobu Los Cabo is gorgeous resort about 10km outside of city center. It is relatively new and has a great layout. Rather than the traditional swim up bars that all-inclusive resorts have, the hotel has created a remarkable pool area with plenty of cabanas spread across three major areas. Most of the rooms on the first floor across all buildings has private entries into the larger pool areas - very cool. Additoionally, every reservation is tied to a specific guest ambassador. Ours was Jazmin, and she took such amazing care of us. Whether it was making reservations for specific restaurants on and off resort or helping book specific excursions, the service was phenomenal. If you have any plans to go into the city or find other excursions, having your own rental car is definitely needed.
There were a few inconveniences that I should mention. First, the bathrooms while very well appointed are european style, which means taking a shower results in water splashing everywhere. There are no fans or ventilation, so condensation forms everywhere. I think this was impacting the HVAC as both of our rooms were quite humid. Maintenance did try to address it, but were unsuccessful. Again, this may have just been a comfort issue for us.
