I stayed at the Whisky Hotel for 3 nights as a solo traveler and I felt so at home. From the warm greeting at the front desk, to the friendly staff at the restaurant and the comfort of the room, I wish I could have extended my stay. The amenities were such a plus including the continental breakfast each morning, the amazing view from the rooftop, and the spacious and stylish lobby area. It is also central to so many iconic sights in Hollywood! I definitely plan on staying again!

It's an older hotel, and it feels like an older hotel. The TV was perched on the wall as if it might fall off and in an angle where it couldn't be watched sitting in bed. But that's okay. The air conditioning was good, and there was actual water pressure in the shower. Clean linens and towels. The bathroom door opens in a bit of an awkward way, but that can be chalked up to it being an old hotel. Otherwise comfortable. Walls are VERY THIN. No fan or anything like that to dampen noise. They say 'free breakfast' but you're paying for it with your daily resort fee thingie so take advantage. Eggs, toast, sausage, butter/jam, orange juice, a dry cereal, yogurt, oranges/apples. Sometimes potatoes. Great views from the breakfast area, which is on the roof.

We loved the style of the hotel. Once we got to our fourth morning different breakfast options would have been nice. Housekeeping was offered every day. We did not need to park.

Pokój był czysty z widokiem na napis Hollywood tak jak chciałam. Wystrój w całym hotelu naprawdę super. Śniadania były naprawde fajne biorąc pod uwage jakie są śniadania w hotelach w USA, najadłam się jak nigdy dotąd podczas pobytów w innych hotelach. Obsługa w hotelu bardzo miła i przyjazna. Czułam się bardzo dobrze podczas pobytu i z chęcią wrócę tam znowu podczas kolejnej wizyty.

I stayed here to see a show at the Hollywood Bowl and the location was very convenient. The immediate area is not that great but within a couple of blocks, there are lots of restaurants and it’s well situated to several venues. The hotel room was comfortable and included a Nespresso and hairdryer. The TV is weird—no local tv/major networks—only streaming. The phone didn’t work so every time I needed something I had to use my cell phone. The bathroom was good. Nice, large shower with great water, pressure. The highlight was the rooftop where they served daily complementary breakfast, lots of seating and an excellent view of the Hollywood sign. There was one hotel staff person— maybe the manager —who had solid advice about restaurants, etc. the two other people working there were unreliable and gave incorrect info about the need for reservations at one place and the style of cuisine at another place.

I could tell the hotel room was clean based on the bedding, shower handles, shower glass, countertops,etc. The bathroom floor was really bad. I don’t know if it’s the tile they chose, but it’s white and black and looked absolutely filthy. I think it was just stained with permanent dirt that won’t come out. Everything else was perfectly clean, but this was a huge turn off.

When we arrived we received valet parking and a whiskey shot. Everything is charged to your card on file valet parking, water,... I really liked the fact that I did not need to park y car then carry everything the valet parking made it so much easier. Staff is friendly and very helpful. Would most definitely stay again.

The room was great and the staff was very helpful. We got placed in the wrong room one first night but the employees were great and upgraded our room. It was a wonderful stay and the rooftop had such great views. The complementary breakfast was a nice perk.

Mi experiencia en el Whisky Hotel fue excelente. Desde que llegamos nos sentimos muy cómodos y todo estuvo a la altura de lo que esperábamos. El hotel tiene una decoración muy cuidada, moderna y con mucha personalidad. La habitación estaba impecable, era cómoda y tenía todo lo necesario para disfrutar de la estadía. También quiero destacar especialmente la limpieza y el buen estado general de las instalaciones. La atención del personal fue excelente en todo momento: amables, atentos y siempre dispuestos a ayudarnos. Se nota que cuidan mucho los detalles y la experiencia del huésped. La ubicación también nos pareció muy buena para conocer Los Ángeles, especialmente la zona de Hollywood. Y el rooftop fue uno de nuestros lugares favoritos del hotel, tanto por el ambiente como por las vistas. En general, fue una estadía excelente y no tuvimos nada que objetar. Nos fuimos muy contentos y sin duda volveríamos a hospedarnos en el Whisky Hotel en nuestro próximo viaje a Los Ángeles.

The rooftop had amazing views of LA and the hotel restaurant was fantastic. Only downside is the restaurant wasn’t open for lunch otherwise we would have eaten there. Staff were all friendly and helpful. We only stayed one night but would recommend it!
