The only thing is the sound insulation is not the greatest. We stay on the 1st floor and the foot steps from upstairs unit are so loud that they are quite annoying/disturbing. We used the sofa sleeper which was very low to the ground. There was only 1 set of sheets for the 2 beds so the king bed had a fitted sheet while the sofa bed had the top sheet. We had a room by the road so it was very noisy. kitchen convenient. We attended conferences at the Dolby Theatre, which is just a 9-minute walk away. The room itself is nice and has everything you might need for a comfortable stay. However, the reason for my low rating is the check-in process and cleanliness. You’re required to send a photo of your driver’s license via email or text, as there’s no one available to assist with check-in. Additionally, parking must be paid through an app that sends a code to your phone—after using it, my credit card was compromised. Cleanliness was also an issue. The bed sheets hadn’t been changed; they were dirty when we arrived. Fortunately, I had read reviews on Google after booking and brought my own bed covers and comforter. Still, I didn’t feel comfortable due to hygiene concerns. On the positive side, communication with the host was fast and efficient. Bed was comfortable. Apartment was clean. Toilet seat was functional but did not fit the toilet. There was hot water for the shower but it took an extremely long time to get warm. Location was good and underground parking garage was very convenient and secure for $35/night which was not a bad deal.
