We thought breakfast is included in our plan, but we still asked the staff in the dining area to check for us while the staff said just go ahead. And then, we had breakfast but was told we have to pay for the breakfast... Why dont you check it for us beforehand?! An uber driver told me its the trick they always do to make more money!

The hotel is very convenient for transit at the LAX airport. The room is was you expect. You have to try the pizza at the lobby.

A little tired and in need of updating

Posted 24-Apr-2016
Pros: Location, shuttle bus from the international terminal.
Cons: Decor, beverage prices, more frequent airport shuttle bus. Room lighting.
Location: Location is good for the airport.
Stayed for one night having landed into LAX to travel onwards the next day. The shuttle to the hotel was extremely busy (they are every twenty minutes, so expect them to be busy). On arrival the check in was efficient and we went to our room. The decor in the communal areas was drab and in need of brightening up. In our room (11th floor) the room was very clean, but also very tired. It needed redecorating, with paper peeling in some areas of the room, not excessively, but enough to notice. The room was fairly dark and the lighting was inadequate. We used the bar for two drinks (draft Stella and bottle of Corona) which at $21.20 was excessively high. We went to the local Starbucks for breakfast as the Crowne Plaza has a captive audience and I considered the charges were too high. I am a member of the IHG rewards club, but I wouldn't be persuaded to stay here again as there are other hotels that offer better value for money.

I stayed one night but had initially booked for two nights. The two night amount was taken out of my bank account along with a 200 dollar hold. It wasn't put back right away. It's been three days and I have still not gotten it put back in my account. I called and left a message at the hotel and still no cal back. I'm here on vacation and on a budget. Could use the money.

Great location for early flight

Posted 18-Apr-2016
Had a very nice overnight stay, beds really comfortable. Hotel was very nice, staff very professional. Breakfast buffet at Landings was very good. Just found it odd that the bathroom had no exhaust fans and the room doors slam loudly automatically when entering or leaving. Same with the bathroom, it had an auto sliding door that slams. Throughout the night I heard the slams of other hotel room doors, very odd. Other than the doors had a nice view.

Great stay!

Pros: Price, complimentary shuttle to the airport.
Stayed 1 night before and after long plane ride out of LAX. They were able to add a day room for a reasonable price so we could shower, etc before our red eye flight. Friendly staff. Food was good but expensive, but it's LA! Lunch special was reasonable. Room was very comfortable. Concierge was very helpful in arranging a car and driver to take a group of us to a few local places.

Poor parking facilities and accessibility.

Posted 06-Apr-2016
Pros: Courteous staff.
Cons: Play more mellow, melodic music in the lobby, rather than the deafening, strident music that was often playing.
Location: Near Los Angeles International Airport and near rental car agencies.
The parking cost $15 per day if you only left and returned one time; parking cost $23 per day if you left and returned two or more times per day. This cost was unexpected. The parking garage was multi-story, and you had to park on the upper stories. There were two elevators available, but one was inoperable, so you would often have to wait several minutes before the elevator was available for use. In frustration, I often would walk up six flights of stairs to get my car. Leaving the parking garage took a long time from the upper floors of the garage; it was equivalent to having to drive several blocks just to leave the garage.
