"The room was clean. The shower was hot. We had a fridge and microwave. The beds were comfortable.
We had to ask the front desk for a hair dryer. The door to the room would stick and could be difficult to open. The bathroom sink was backing up and draining very slowly. Breakfast was adequate. Hardly had any interaction with the staff. The front desk person stayed in the back room but did come on out if you rang the bell. Would have loved to have had a direct access to the bike trail and a place across the street to launch a kayak or canoe. The location is good otherwise. Quick 5 min. bike ride into town."
Adorable Historic Adirondack Lakefront Cottage on Long Lake
8/10 Good
"The Honeymoon Cabin was a good place to stay as we explored the Long Lake area of the Adirondacks. We especially loved the screened porch with beautiful views of the lake. And we loved kayaking around that more quiet end of the lake. The owner could not have been nicer. Thanks for sharing your lakefront cabin with us!"

"The cabin is small but in great condition. The only problem I ran into was at checkout. I could not find the black garbage can where I was supposed to put the garbage."
