"Truly an amazing view! Great restaurant and bar where you can sit right outside to enjoy the view. Fantastic pool (large and 9 feet deep) and hot tub. The private beach associated with the hotel was just okay--you had to drive to get there and then rental boats were in bad shape (some broken and unusable and others needing small repairs). The swimming area was small and there wasn't much beach for kids to play. They should also offer boats other than kayaks and paddleboards. The place down the road had those in addition to pedal/paddle boats and pontoon style boats the whole family can use together. With that being said the hotel was great and walking distance to so many shops, restaurants, and the Olympic pavilion. I highly recommend it and once the renovations are complete it may be even nicer. I also thought it was nice that every room had a balcony or patio to enjoy the view."

"The room was clean. The shower was hot. We had a fridge and microwave. The beds were comfortable. We had to ask the front desk for a hair dryer. The door to the room would stick and could be difficult to open. The bathroom sink was backing up and draining very slowly. Breakfast was adequate. Hardly had any interaction with the staff. The front desk person stayed in the back room but did come on out if you rang the bell. Would have loved to have had a direct access to the bike trail and a place across the street to launch a kayak or canoe. The location is good otherwise. Quick 5 min. bike ride into town."

"The Honeymoon Cabin was a good place to stay as we explored the Long Lake area of the Adirondacks. We especially loved the screened porch with beautiful views of the lake. And we loved kayaking around that more quiet end of the lake. The owner could not have been nicer. Thanks for sharing your lakefront cabin with us!"

"Didn't know what I was getting myself into but definitely was not disappointed from the front desk staff to my dinner to my chef in the morning time for breakfast the atmosphere of the views will not complain we'll do again definitely something low-key where you can just relax"

"The property is located on a unique piece of land. The "backyard" area opens up to the lake and it is very peaceful to sit there and watch the sunset. So, A+ there. In July of 2026 they are doing construction on the restaurant. I'm glad to see this place get some needed TLC in the form of capital investment. The downside is there is no breakfast or anything like that. There is a coffee shop within walking distance that has breakfast items. In the morning, there is a line out the door. Super popular place. I can't recall the name of it,but it shouldn't be hard to find. The biggest downside here is that all the rooms are on the upper floors and there is zero AC. Also, no elevator or anything to help you schlepp your bags up the steep circa late 19th century staircase (not the typical 7x11 risexrun that became standardized since WWII). We were there in July and it was only mid 70s in the day and upper 50s in the night and our room was sweltering. If they ever add AC, I'd go back. If not, then not. At least not in July."

"The cabin was a little bit smaller than expected (photos on the website felt a little bit bigger) but everything was clean and comfortable. It was great having air-conditioning because we were there during a very hot week. We planned ahead and brought a an electric frying pan and an air fryer grill so that we could save a little bit of money and cook in our room so having picnic tables out on the grounds was wonderful to be able to take our food outside to eat. The only downside was the Wi-Fi was very weak, we were not able to use the TV at all because it was connected to Wi-Fi. Thankfully there was a great thunderstorm that we could watch as we shut off all the lights and encourage us to tell some scary stories to each other! My one suggestion would be to invest in a mesh system for the Wi-Fi so that the signal can reach all of the rooms and cabins successfully. Definitely helpful for parents like me that travel with children on the spectrum."
