The convenience of location, affordability of a safe, comfortable room, and being so close to Hyde Park and other great locations, with a walkable distance to Paddington Station. I would definitely do this again and have a longer stay/ layover in London.

Just a heads up, this is a college/dorm that converts itself to a hotel in the summer. I wish I had known that before I booked here. It smells in the hallways and rooms are very very small/basic. Staff was friendly and it was in a good and safe neighborhood.

The staff were amazing! So helpful with directions and using the tube. Even took the time to write down the directions for us. 24 hour front desk. Very quiet. Fans were provided in the room Luggage storage is available.

Room was clean and the reception staff were helpful. I love that they offer to store your luggage in the case you arrive early. To make it known it seems that the building is mainly used as dorms for students and during the summer months converted to a hotel style accommodation. Just to note our room did not have air conditioning just a small desk fan. We we ready for this as most of UK and EU do not use air con. With that being said it fit our needs and was a pleasant stay overall.

As this was summer accommodation for the price it was reasonable. No tv in our room which was a shame. Maybe have some in stock for those that wish to have one. The Eastside bar/ restaurant was closed on Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays which is useless for those on a long weekend city break, there must be enough people around to operate the facility. We had to go across to Pret in the main Imperial building if we wanted a coffee or a snack and then walk to a pub if we wanted a drink. The surrounding area is lovely and Princess Gardens was great to sit in. Easy access to Hyde Park and museums also the Albert Hall. We will definitely go again before term starts in September.

This was a stay of many records. Primarily, it was the shortest recorded stay I've had of any hotel room- 5 minutes. 5 minutes was what took to go up to my room, assess how bad the situation was, and then book another hotel. This 'hotel' was misleading with it's images and descriptions. I have personally seen better hostels and hole in the walls. The bathroom, in particular, took inspiration from the old asylums and mental institutions with regards to both health and cleanliness. It is comforting in a way to see that there are less clean places than the London Underground. I can go into further detail but I will simply summarize by saying that as a man in his mid 20's traveling abroad, I do not ask for much and I am quite cost conscious. This 'hotel' caused me to book an entirely new room elsewhere at full cost... and I have no regrets. Other than booking this place, of course
