This is my honest review. Rentals are very expensive in London and you definitely get what you pay for. This flat has a very low price point, and is reflected accordingly. First for the good: This flat is in an excellent neighborhood. There are plenty of delightful restaurants, pubs, and even a Thai massage business within walking distance. It's also very close to a tube stop (Kennington), making it very easy to get to from the airport. The space to sleep in is separate from the bathroom, in our case down 3 steps. Both locks to get in the flat and the bathroom were programmed for our stay and made it easy for my husband and I to go our separate ways without worrying about keys. 3 separate sized towels were provided for the 2 of us. There's a heated towel rack in the bathroom so our towels never stayed wet. Our flat and bathroom were very clean upon check-in, but unfortunately, the bathroom had a strong mildew odor. Now for the negatives: We suspect that the strong mildew smell came from the shower backing up and likely leaking into the space below the floor. The flat and bathroom were very warm, but thankfully a floor fan was provided. The security on the building was lax, with the main door either ajar or propped open many times during our stay. The host was mostly responsive, but sometimes it took several messages to get the answer I was seeking. We did not report the backing up of the shower until we left due to this reason.
