Look online for Roman Road - Old Ford neighbourhood which has become an enjoyable multi-cultural community, the ethnic shops and restaurants and even the Tesca nearby for getting groceries. On Saturdays and two other days a week a market fills the street in front with a variety of goods including clothing at amazing prices. By bus an hour to St. Paul's Cathedral, but if you use the tube from Bethnal Green, it's faster.
