The apartment was very tired and had no reasonable sitting areas for our large group. The location was excellent for exploring London but I would not recommend this place as a suitable accommodation for elderly or people with walking difficulties as it is two flights up.
There were insufficient towels and the general state of the entire place was dirty
A very disappointing and unsettling experience
Unfortunately, this was an extremely disappointing experience. It wasn’t simply the accommodation itself that was in desperate need of renovation, but the overall condition of the building, including the entrance, communal areas and staircase.
The surroundings felt neglected and unwelcoming, creating an atmosphere that I found quite intimidating. I felt extremely uncomfortable and vulnerable on arrival, to the point where I genuinely did not want to stay at the property.
I appreciate that everyone’s expectations are different, but for me, the condition of the building and the overall environment were far below what I would consider acceptable.
It was a thoroughly unpleasant experience and certainly not somewhere I would choose to stay again.
