We had a really lovely stay at Fox Connaught. The hotel is definitely a little older and you can tell that the rooms have seen better days, but honestly, this didn’t bother us too much. What really stood out to us was the service and the staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly, kind and helpful, which made our stay very enjoyable. I would absolutely stay here again simply because of how welcoming the staff were. There’s a bar downstairs, and the bartender was especially lovely and helpful. We also ordered some food from downstairs, which was surprisingly delicious and definitely worth trying. The receptionist who checked us out was also very friendly.

Great pub/hotel. Had to wait for reception and no offer of help with my bag up many flights but great location and good value food/drink. Room was clean and had what I needed. Good value considering cost.

Ideal location for the MCM Comic Con and for other events at the Excel. Decent sized room, amc although fairly basic offers everything you really need. The room was clean and good value. The only problem I had was the kettle not working properly.

Lovely pub hotel. Very close to excel 5 mins walk. Lots of character, cosy clean rooms and excellent value for money. Showers not great, hot water suddenly turns freezing cold. Food good downstairs and staff friendly and helpful. Will stay again :)

The Fox Connaught is the cutest hotel. Great pub downstairs and the rooms are huge. Feels like you’re in a super cool, historic home. Close to transit and easy to get anywhere from.

The location and pub are nice. The room was small but that was fine. What really bothered me was the visible layer of thick brown dust on top of all the high spaces. Not a regular amount but the amount that shows it hasn’t been cleaned in over a year. Then there were the window sills. They had a thick layer of black greasy dirt at all the panes. I tried killing a fly against the window and the paper that hit it came back with black streaks. It is a shame because the staff were amazing and the building is great.

Room was amazing. Simply amazing, room came with everything you could need, kettle, fan, safe. Beds comfortable Check-in was simple and was allowed to park in the car park before check-in time. The manager in the evening was extremely helpful as needed to leave early hours of the morning and car park is locked for safety reasons. All staff I spoke with were friendly and helpful and we would certainly use the fox again!
