The check in was smooth, friendly, and quick. The apartment was top notch and close to public transport. After a long flight, it was so nice to be close to Paddington station and easy to get to everything with two subway stations close by. Located in the bustling "Little Beirut" area of London, the unit is on a lively street with many Middle Eastern cuisine options. While the host has no control over the external noise, as previous reviews rightly noted, the significant street noise. Notably, there is a small restaurant and a hookah bar directly below the unit, with patrons often gathered outside until around midnight. Really, the biggest disturbance there was the noise from a group of what appeared to be the same group of cars repeatedly circling the block, revving their engines and causing their mufflers to backfire. This may be a one-off, but it happened all 4 nights we stayed starting midweek and seemed like the "cool" thing to do on the block. Communication had its ups and downs but always got done. Repairs were done within 24hours, the place is clean and my flat was well maintained. I enjoyed the smart TV, the full size Refrigerator, the super fast stove, the coffeemaker and good pressure shower. What i hated was the street noise which they can't help esp because there's a hospital next door. Also the slow internet was a problem for me. That wifi use to drive me nuts!!! I used my phone data a lot. Overall if you are a night owl, this is the place to be as the street stays busy. Shopping is great as you're minutes away from everything, transportation is excellent. You're right next to the tube as well as Paddington station. Besides the noise and occasional hiccups with the office, this place was a good stay. Cons: no fault of there’s at all but the street is super noisy so you hear conversations , shouting and cars all day and night. Sometimes I get woken up by the noise because I’m a light sleeper.
