It is easy to find, so close to the tube and within walking distance of everything you need. The apartment was spacious, comfortable and had everything we needed. It was on the top floor and there were a lot of stairs to climb. Tons of pubs, restaurants and shops all just a minutes walks and right next to a theater. We were on the top floor which made carrying luggage difficult as there’s no elevator, but you can request help from the housekeepers which is nice. The location made the stairs worth it! We had great communication and were supplied with detailed instructions on how to work the appliances. It was great having a washer/dryer and kitchen table. I would have loved it if there had been extra towels, blankets, and a hair dryer. The only thing that was terrible was the shower because the lack of water pressure meant it kind of just dribbled out. Also, lugging our bags up six flights of stairs was rough but I think that’s probably just because it’s an old building. While the location of the apartment is convenient, the noise factor can be a deterrent for those who are traveling for business or working through jet lag. The building has a lot of charm, but walls are paper thin, and at times I felt my neighbors’ conversations where happening in the same room as me. A few dirty dishes in the cabinets needed to be rewashed before use.
