The noise of renovations next door was not so great but that will be temporary. The owners take great care to keep the property at a high standard. A broken blind was fixed within hours of us reporting it. The only drawback is the stairs, but the spacious and comfortable rooms, complete with a small pantry, make it feel like a home away from home. I would recommend this hotel for visitors with small luggage, as navigating with large bags can be challenging. During this stay, we encountered some issues with the toilet. However, as always, the staff were extremely helpful and provided 24/7 support to resolve the problem. Apartment was as described. I stayed in apartment 6 on the 3rd floor, note the stairs are narrow and quite steep and there is no lift. Couple of things that would have turned this from good to excellent 1\. Install a full length mirror in the room - a must! 2\. Frosted glass in the bathroom, even with the blind, it felt quite exposing to have pretty much a full length window in the actual shower. 3\. If you are young and fit this wont be an issue but I don't recommend to anyone with large amounts of luggage or more senior. The major issue is getting into the building, the vikey app wouldnt work at all we spent close to an hour over the couple of days we stayed trying to get into the building. The lock on the front door just didnt work, we only managed to get in due to others leaving the building. They explained theyd had similar issues (i have no idea how anyone actually got in efficiently). However huge draft through windows which meant we were freezing at night and had a very unpleasant night. It also meant we could hear lots of noise from outside. The next morning none of the electrics (apart from the lights worked). My husband went out to get food and when he came back he couldn't get in. To get into the apartment you do not get a key, you have to use an app, but the app kept saying you can't access the property at the moment. So I had to wedge open the apartment door and walk down to the main door to let him in. I then tried to have a shower but the water was stone cold. Hotels.com said the checkout is 11, but we received an email saying checkout at 10, so I messaged the owner and they confirmed we could stay until 11\. However, someone knocked on our door at 10 expecting us to be ready to leave.
