We appreciated that it was just beyond the heavy tourist district and was quieter. There is a pub just outside, but it closes around 11 most nights, and it's quiet after that with the odd exception. The flat was as expected - bright, roomy enough, well-laid out for two friends to sleep in separate spaces. It was not as clean upon check-in as I would normally expect, and the host apologized for that. The biggest issue was that, while the flat is indeed on a "quiet residential street," there is a pub directly below the bedroom window, so for people who tend to go to bed early, the noise was a frustration. Also, the stairwell to the second floor is narrow and turns; navigating it with a big suitcase was a bit of a challenge, but we managed. ##### Denise B.
