Bloomsbury Palace Hotel is a delightful place to stay, combining classic London charm, a welcoming atmosphere, and an excellent location in the historic Bloomsbury district.
One of the highlights of our stay was the wonderful complimentary breakfast. It was such a pleasure to start each morning with a satisfying breakfast before heading out to explore London. This thoughtful touch made the stay even more enjoyable and offered excellent value for money.
The staff gave a very warm welcome. I appreciated the offer of a late check out as they were unable to offer an upgrade- incredibly thoughtful.
My request for a ground floor room was accommodated and much appreciated given my heavy cases.
Breakfast included is a rare occurrence in London and the small but fresh continental selection set me up well. Great value hotel in a good location.
This hotel was so well placed both for our evening at the theatre and visit to the British Museum next day. Our room was on the third floor and was well appointed and comfortable. We didn’t have much luggage so the stairs not a problem for us. The desk staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast provided was simple but sufficient and made a good start to the day. We would definitely stay again if needing to be in the area.
We booked this hotel with 30mins notice as our previous accomodation fell through. The staff were so helpful, the rooms spotless and I couldn't have been more pleased. The area was lovely with nice restaurants and quiet. No lift but not an issue for us. Breakfast was exactly what you expect of a standard continental but there are some lovely breakfast spots nearby if you want something more substantial.
This is the second time we have stayed here having stayed last year when visiting London.
The staff are all very helpful and friendly. The rooms have tea and coffee and are comfortable. Hotel is in a great location. Breakfast is very good.
The breakfast room was small, on busy mornings there was a wait for a table. Note that it is a continental breakfast. I had a single room which was so small that if I opened my suitcase on the floor, I could not get to the bathroom or the door. The toilet was halfway under the sink. The garden was nice with a table and chairs. Turning out the overhead light turned out the electricity to the one outlet in the room, so there could be no bedside light, and no charging of devices overnight.

Calling this a 4-star hotel is misleading. Based on the condition and overall appearance, I would give it no more than 1 star.
The room was very basic and, as described, quite tiny, but it was surprisingly clean. The location directly beside the British Museum was the main reason we booked, and that was certainly a major advantage.
Check-in and check-out were simple and hassle-free.
Overall, clients would probably leave much fairer reviews if the property were not presented as a 4-star hotel. The experience itself was acceptable for a basic, well-located room, but the 4-star rating sets expectations that the property does not meet.
I’ve stayed a few times and the staff are all very helpful and accommodating. The breakfast area is spotless which is a credit to the ladies who look after the area. Looking forward to my next visit.
Breakfast is resh out every day, the place is very clean and the people are very friendly. It's in a great place for theatre land and transport around London.

Excellent location and a good price. Very friendly staff. Breakfast was well tended by the staff, but with limited options. Our room was up four flights of narrow stairs, but very quiet.

The Hotel itself was charming and in a GREAT location. Easy walks to a variety of restaurants, shops and venues. The staff was super helpful and friendly. So pleased we were able to stay there.
There was an unground station a block away. There were a number of restaurants within blocks

Single room was small, but manageable. Amenities are good, including the continental breakfast. There is some noise from the street, however. The front desk staff are excellent.
