"Hotel was convenient for visiting family in area. Room was clean, with fridge, kettle, toaster and microwave and dinner set/cutlery. Also iron/ironing board provided. Downside was there was very few power points....not one on either side of the bed. Have addressed this with management. Close to Hyperdome shopping centre and Eagle tavern. Convenient for 2 night stay."

"The Star prides itself for delivering excellent customer service. From the time we arrived we were welcomed by Emma at the Front desk; she is an asset to the property. Professional and personable. The GM Hotel sent us a personalized note with a complementary bottle of wine. Very impressed with the level of excellence displayed by all team members. "
