Perfect for a family of 4 with kids being under 10. Room and bathroom were spacious. It is a little bit out of the way but is only a few minutes from a number of restaurants. There is a restaurant at the hotel as well if you feel like staying in. Breakfast was adequate with the typical German fare. It is also within 20 minutes of lots of activities. Staff was attentive and helpful. Definitely would recommend!

We stayed at this hotel for one night so as to be near our hiking destination the next morning. We made arrangements for late arrival which the staff made easy. However, when we arrived we found that there was no soap or shampoo in the shower and when we phoned about it the staff were rude about it and explained that they were not a two or three star hotel so could not afford to provide these in the shower. That is inconsistent with other hotels we have stayed at that charge 100 euros a night, no matter the star level. The bathrooms in both of our rooms were in need of updating and renovation. The shower head in our bathroom no longer stayed in position msking it frustrating to have a shower. The bathroom in my daughter's room still had dog hair in it from a previous guest. The bedrooms were in better shape but the curtain in ours was not large enough to cover all of the window. On the positive side, being out in the country it was quiet at night and the breakfast variety and quality was similar to the other hotels we stayed in this trip. At checkout the staff were apologetic about our issues but reiterated they "we are not a two or three star hotel" excuse. They did reduce the cost by the amount of the local tax, about 5 euros per room, as a goodwill gesture, but we would be unlikely to stay there again.

Das Hotel ist eine wunderbare Wahl für einen erholsamen Aufenthalt im Schwarzwald. Das Zimmer war sauber und gemütlich. Das freundliche Personal und das reichhaltige Frühstücksbuffet tragen zu einem angenehmen Aufenthalt bei. Die ruhige Atmosphäre lädt zum Entspannen ein, während die Lage perfekt ist, um die Schönheit der Region zu erkunden. Insgesamt ein empfehlenswertes Hotel für einen unvergesslichen Aufenthalt im Schwarzwald.

Super Unterkunft. Schöne Einrichtung der Zimmer. Etwas abgelegen, wodurch es schön ruhig ist. Allgemein ein sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Das Zimmer war schön sauber und das Personal war ebenfalls sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Ich kann dieses Hotel definitiv weiterempfehlen

Als kleine Familie haben wir uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt. Sehr familientaugliches Hotel im Grünen
In der ersten Nacht hatten wir ein "Familienzimmer", das aus zwei Räumen bestand und wenig Platz für das Babybett bot. Auf Nachfrage bekamen wir aber direkt ein Tauschangebot und verbrachten den restlichen Aufenthalt in einem tollen, großen Familienzimmer. Vielen Dank nochmal dafür!

Zimmer war ganz schön und sauber. Zimmer selbst mit modernen Möbeln ausgestattet. Badezimmer könnte eine Renovierung vertragen, erfüllt aber noch seinen Zweck. Restaurant gibt es leider noch nicht, aber wurde wohl verpachtet und soll wohl ab Januar/Februar 2023 betrieben werden. Inhaber bot mir aber an, dass er nachfragen könnte, ob es doch etwas zu Essen geben könnte. Das habe ich aber abgelehnt, da ich dann Bar hätte zahlen müssen und das ist für mich immer etwas doof, bezüglich der Abrechnung mit der Firma. WLAN war nicht das beste, aber war völlig ausreichend um auch etwas zu streamen (zwischendurch ein paar ruckele) Zum Urlaub machen auf jeden Fall ganz angenehm. Ich war aber beruflich da.
