"What fantastic hosts, who were welcoming and friendly and just fantastic to our group who arrived sopping wet from a day’s cycling and provided a last minute feast when we were let down by our evening dinner booking.
The rooms and facilities were perfect."

"We had a private room which was perfect for our cycling trip, lots of radiators to dry our things and a bike shed out the back. Amenities all grand too"

"This is a very good hotel , and the best value for money on the island. It is quite clearly an old hotel but very well looked after.
The one down point for me would be the attention to detail with the cleaning of the rooms.
The shower tray had hairs in it, the teaspoons and mugs were not clean. The carpet had quite a few "suspect" stains.
Would definitely stay here again, but covered everything we needed to do on the island so probably wont be back for that reason.
The breakfast was great."
"Nice light bites evening menu, nice continental breakfast, hosts very friendly, good sellection in bar. Quirky little place. Our room it was just a shower hose in the bath but we managed Outside and beer garden could do with a tidy up. For the price it was ok"
"Ideal layout for us with space between the bedrooms and lounge and kitchen- meaning late to bed and early risers didn’t disturb each other. Beautiful views from the kitchen and lounge and ideally located next to shop and restaurant."
"Very comfortable lodge which is well equipped. Ideal for 4 people with a double and a twin room. Kris was very good at communicating and we enjoyed our stay a lot. Fascinated by the robot mowers which cut the grass on the site. It's well situated for access to Blackwaterfoot which is only a 15 minute walk away. Would recommend."
"Great Base for Exploring Arran
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Auchrannie Resort and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Arran.
The accommodation was comfortable, clean, and well maintained, providing a relaxing base to explore the island. One of the highlights was dining at the resort’s Cruize Restaurant, which offered healthy menu choices along with prompt and friendly service.
The resort facilities are excellent and cater to guests of all ages and interests. I particularly appreciated the fitness centre, which was well equipped and a great way to stay active while travelling.
Another bonus is the location. Just around the corner is the local Ormidale Hotel, a lively and welcoming pub that was a great place to meet locals and enjoy some authentic Arran hospitality.
Overall, a fantastic stay and a property we would happily return to on a future visit to Arran."
