"Portavadie was a wonderful stay, It takes a while to drive there but once arrive we barely wanted to leave, and both pedestrian and car ferries (although the car ferry is often broken down) are right there. The room at the Lodge was perfect!! The restaurant including breakfast is a wonderful space, the menu choices, quality of food, and staff are all just great. The Spa is another great space, and the general views make you feel you have truly escaped. Will come again!! Thank you Portavedie."

"A beautifully kept property. Kris has thought of everything!Very quiet area - great for breakfast and dinner on the deck. Just a 15 minute walk for a drink at the hotel in Blackwaterfoot.Kris was great when our ferry was delayed - thank you!"

"We loved our stay. Our room was so comfortable and spacious. Lovely amenities were provided too. Parking was easy and it is walking distance to the local town. We wish we were staying more than 1 night."

"Staff very helpful and able to deal with all questions. Good breakfast made to order and very good dinner in hotel restaurant. Free parking is available all along the street; all local amenities are easily accessible on foot. The internal fabric of the hotel is rather tired and worn, and would benefit from some refurbishment; fixtures and fittings show some - largely cosmetic - wear and tear which might be better maintained. This would make it more aesthetically attractive."
