"Spent the weekend here as a group for my sisters hen weekend. The photographs don’t do the facility justice. The house was amazing with so much character!! The staircase, aga and fire were fantastic!! Set in such a peaceful space with excellent grounds for kids and big ‘kids’ to play games. Plenty of space and rooms were an amazing size and comfortable! "A beautiful property with stunning grounds. Roaring fire to welcome you. Inviting lounges and quaint bar with rustic features and lovely decor. Our gorgeous room featured an exceptionally comfortable extra-large bed, with high-quality linen and towels, and thoughtful luxury touches throughout. The dog-friendly amenities, included a fluffy bed, a chew and paw towel all of which were appreciated, and our ground-floor room offered direct garden access. The brasserie restaurant on the grounds had a very good menu choice and the food there was excellent and hotel breakfast was also superb. All of the staff provided excellent service throughout our stay. A lovely hotel we would happily return, highly recommended!"

"Hotel was excellent value for money being in the centre of the town. Staff were very accommodating. I was traveling on my bike and they accommodated storing it securely overnight. The best bit about the hotel is the evening food. They have a very good chef, and a decent menu. The food presentation is very good and tastes excellent. I had the balmoral chicken one night and the slow cooked beef the second night. Both were excellent. It is far better than the surrounding eating restaurants that offer basic burger and chips."

"The cottage was really cosy and comfortable with everything you need. I found it to be very well equipped and the owners even decorate it for Christmas. There are some wonderful views surrounding the cottage, including the loch. An excellent place to relax and I would highly recommend. Also great communication from the owners."
