2.0 out of 10, (1 review)
"The worst “hotel” imaginable. Staff have no idea what they’re doing. No wifi (i mean who needs wifi). I was told to be ready at 6 am sharp for transport to the city. It never came. The hotel reception said that in Peru when we say 6 am we really mean 7 am. Unbelievable. I only woke up at 5 am and was there 15 minutes early. I had to hitch a ride with another couple’s driver (pure luck) to get to the city, My driver is still probably on his way. The worst part is in my haste I left behind my hat....

Frequently asked questions

What is the best area to stay in Lluta?
The best area to stay in Lluta is in and around the main square, Plaza de Armas, which is the heart of the village.

This central area is where you'll find the most amenities. The Plaza de Armas is a pleasant, open space, often surrounded by historic-style buildings and the local church. It's the hub for local life and offers easy access to the few local eateries and small shops. This area is particularly well-suited for couples seeking a quiet, authentic experience away from bustling tourist hubs.

For those looking for a more secluded and tranquil experience, consider one of the guesthouses or haciendas located just outside the main village centre. These properties often provide more expansive grounds, offering a peaceful retreat with views of the surrounding countryside.
