Staff was amazing and made sure all our needs were met, and went out of their way to make us welcome. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The service during meals was just outstanding--we did not have to wait between courses or for our glasses to be refilled as staff kept a close eye. The food was wonderful, with locally-sourced ingredients and inventive recipes. I had to hitch a ride with another couple’s driver (pure luck) to get to the city, My driver is still probably on his way. However there are plenty of blankets and if you sleep in thermals and socks you’ll be fine. Nice shower and hot water. You can arrange taxi service to Cananaconde if you’re trekking from there. Edgar took us to town (50 /s) and picked us up the following day when we came back up from Sangalle Oasis. Be aware the hotel is \~1.5km from the road, up a driveway I would not want to walk up carrying my backpacks. We’ve been to some awesome places in our travels -this hotel in # 1 or 2 for the views!
