Built in 1579/1580, and at one point inhabited by around 450 nuns and their servants, this sprawling complex is deceptively large inside. We spent an entire afternoon exploring its maze of rooms, cloisters and cobbled streets. It's situated centrally within historic Arequipa and costs 35 soles to enter. Bring a camera and plenty of space on your memory card!
