This place is so good, we left for a 3 hour drive to our next destination, and didn’t like it - so we came back the same day! Comfortable rooms, excellent food, nice garden and jacuzzi, and it’s about a 15 minute walk from the old city centre.

Excellent hotel in beautiful Arequipa.
Staff were professional showed care to attention. They were also very helpful contacting our tour operator to help us locate a lost item. They made sure we had everything we needed during our short stay, i wish we could've stayed for longer. You cannot ask for more.

Based ourselves here for 4 nights exploring Arequipa and around, and it couldn't have been better. Simple, clean, comfortable, and in a great location for the old town.
Staff were outstanding in their helpfulness, with reception staff in particular going out of their way to make us feel welcome.

What an absolutely wonderful hotel! The hotel itself is beautiful and a short 15mins walk to the centre, the staff are really very kind and helpful, the breakfast is excellent, and the room was very big and comfortable! There is nothing that I disliked about this hotel at all - I highly recommend to stay here :)

We stayed 3 nights around some Colca Canyon trekking and really enjoyed the stay (especially the jaccuzzi bath after trekking, though don't thik this was available in every room?). Breakfast is okay, but no restaurant - but reception can dial take away easy enough - we had Domino's Pizza by the swiming pool.....

Fabulous hotel and very friendly staff. There was a minor issue with our payment on arrival. The staff quickly noticed the issue, where honest and apologetic. Paolo in particular was very helpful and friendly. The hotel also gave a free ticket to a city to apologise which very kind. Generally, the hotel is clean, well maintained. Very comfortable and has good amenities and in a good location. Will definitely stay here again and advocate that others do so too.

We loved this hotel. Colonial style, beautiful property and gorgeous terraces to enjoy the sun outside your room. Breakfast was really nice and in a beautiful setting. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We went on a colca canyon overnight hike and they not only stored our luggage but they prepared a take away breakfast as we left at 3am. We booked the Andean massage which was so good. We had Maria and Bennie. The massage room is gorgeous as is the spa which you get access to for an hour...

Thank you once again Ursula and Herman. This is my second visit and cannot recommend Las Mercedes enough. Ursula and Herman are so kind and welcoming and remembered me by name. You can come and go as you please. The building and rooms are clean, hot water throughout the day and night. Tasty breakfast, 10 minute walk to main square, supermarket 5 minutes away. No issues thank you again for a wonderful stay.
