"Pleasant stay. Lots of free parking. Above a nice pub. Outside the room window was an air conditioning unit or generator which meant it was too noisy to leave the window open which was a shame as it was a warm day. Apart from that I’d recommend and stay again."

"Amazing historic estate. Loved the sitting rooms up on check-in. Beds were very comfortable, we got a suite room for 4 of us. Beautiful view of the countryside from the room. Bar was cozy, good food for a reasonable price. Friendly staff."

" We stayed at The Royston for 1 night - I wish it had been a week. Huge rooms, beautifully styled, super clean and with everything that you need to feel at home. Comfortable bed, huge shower and amazing artwork. Relaxing armchairs in our room with amazing views of the rolling hills and valley at the front of the house, perfect for switching off with a glass of wine. Bruce and Kelly are the most generous and hospitable hosts, and went above and beyond for us - I forgot some dresses in the wardrobe when we checked out - a potential disaster as they were for a dinner that night and I hadn’t realised I had left them. Bruce and Kelly phoned me to let me know, then drove them over to the restaurant 40 mins away so we wouldn’t be late for our dinner. Not to mention the delicious cooked breakfast, the tastiest homemade cookies in our rooms, fantastic wine and drinks selection in the honesty bar, and recommendations for places to eat, walk and visit. Would give 10 stars if we could. "

"A lovely place to stay with ample parking. Close to the hotel was some nice walks that you can go on. The room I stayed in looked newly furnished and clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The food; particularly the free breakfast had a wide range to choose from and was good quality. I would recommend this hotel."

"The inn brought me home to Wales and was a shelter from a storm within a warm community. Dai will go above and beyond to care for his own and strangers. My room at the inn will carry memories, as I am sure is the experience for many. I could have won a walk up a mountain - another time. Thank you and your staff Dai:-)"
