Villa with farm on the coast of Llanes

Garman VV- Holiday Rental is a 150-square-meter villa located within a gated property of 1,987 square metres for the use and enjoyment of our guests.

Although it has two floors, our guests will have exclusive use of the ground floor, as the ground floor serves as storage and a kitchenette for the property.

This ground floor is divided into spacious rooms, all with windows facing the outdoors.

A spacious living-dining room facing north to south and a porch-terrace on the north side. The living room features two distinct areas: a spacious living area with a sofa and four armchairs, and a dining area with a large table, separated by the fireplace. Free Wi-Fi throughout the house.

The rest of the house, accessed through double glass doors, consists of a spacious, fully equipped, newly renovated kitchen with a table for 6 people, a dishwasher, oven, microwave, glass-ceramic cooktop, range hood, washing machine, refrigerator with freezer, and a full set of kitchenware for your holiday. The floor plan is completed by a hallway and three double bedrooms, each over 10 m² and featuring built-in closets.

-The master bedroom has a double bed and an en suite bathroom with a bathtub.

Our owners have renovated the house while preserving part of the family’s history and its connection to Mexico. The decor features solid-wood Castilian furniture, as well as antiques and mementos from across the Atlantic—elements that are so prevalent in this region of Asturias, which has such strong ties to emigration to South American countries.

The garden, tended and maintained with care and affection, is the perfect place for children to enjoy the outdoors and for us to read, chat in good company, share a meal, or simply enjoy the sun and our holiday.

Riego, Vidiago, and Puertas de Vidiago—and their residents—are connected by a road that served as the main artery of northern Spain until the completion of the Cantabrian Highway. These three charming villages on the Llanisca coast are steeped in history dating back to the Neolithic era—as evidenced by the impressive “Ídolo de Peña Tu” artefact in Puertas de Vidiago—and feature various examples of traditional Asturian architecture, as well as mansions built by Asturians who made their fortunes abroad and those built locally. On the culinary front, we have the famous Vidiago cheeses from two local cheese shops—“Los Cuetos” and “Collera,” each as good as the next—as well as traditional cider houses offering authentic ambiance, excellent service, and, above all, fresh, locally sourced “km 0” produce and fine cider, such as “Casa Poli” and “El Rubiu,” and Vidiago Beach—a must-visit if you love surfing and one of the most beautiful sunsets in eastern Asturias.

The cliffs along the Llanes coast leave no one indifferent, in Puertas de Vidiago, after a walk where nature awakens our senses along the coastal trail, the Arenillas blowhole surprises us on days of high tide.

Casa Garman is located 10 minutes from Colombres, the capital of “Indiana” architecture, in neighbouring Ribadedeva, and 10 minutes from the quintessential fishing village of Llanes.
