Independent in Llandysul, Wales

Great seafront position and we were lucky enough to be given a sea view room! The staff were lovely but there seemed to be a shortage of them especially in the bar and dining room area where they kept disappearing into the kitchen!!! But overall a great few days

We upgraded to a Premium room which cost an extra £85 but was worth it for the terrace balcony and the lovely seaview. Food was fabulous. Just little things let the facilities down like no teabags in room and spa and gym does not open until 08.00 but breakfast finishes at 09.30

View of sea was great Only negative was loud bar below our window until 10 pm

The spilman is a lovely little hotel full of character. The service was great and the rooms are spacious. Would use again.

Liked service, food excellent, happy staff. Could do with a lift, parking too far away from hotel. Otherwise very good

Lovely room with extremely comfortable bed & quality linens. Various additional pillows available in wardrobe.
