We were upgraded to a sea view room at The Iris, with a gorgeous huge bay window with the pier in sight. The lady at reception was lovely and friendly. Breakfast gentleman was also so mannerly and friendly. Everything was super clean, but cosy. This cost us £53 inc continental breakfast, for two. Waited 45 mins for pouched eggs which by the look of the other people they were hard boiled with no running yoke. We left after waiting 45 mins for food and went else were to pay for food. Second day we did not get offered tea or what food we wanted. Room had a step to go into the bathroom which was not marked on the floor and only had a very small sign on the door below the handle which was a job to see what it was. Broken wardrobe,Bed were two singles pushed together. Sellotape on the cracked windows.Waste pipes running down the wall of the room and you could hear who was using the toilets above us.
