Paradise Valley with Yellowstone River Fishing Access

  • Centrally located in Paradise Valley. Can walk or drive to extensive (3/4 mile of riverside) community fishing access on the Yellowstone River. Quiet, but not too far from the main road. This is a clean newer home on 10 acres with a wrap around cedar deck and a large, sunny, sliding glass door. Have dinner and watch the sunset on the Absarokas and Emigrant Peak. Spectacular thundershowers can be seen across the valley. With exterior lights off there is outstanding stargazing at night. Mule deer pass through the property almost every day.

    20 minutes from Livingston (with breathtaking scenery on the way), 30 minutes from Yellowstone Park, and 45 minutes from Bozeman. Chico Hot Springs is 6 miles away. The town of Emigrant (3-4 miles away) has a post office, petrol station, general store, fly fishing shop, breakfast/lunch place, and the Old Saloon. Outdoor grilling available. Free wi-fi. Kid and pet friendly.

Quiet and relaxing.

Easy check in and very clean. Very peaceful area with a short dirt road drive to the house. Really enjoyed the patio/deck and gas grill with the nice weather. Short drive to the town of Emigrant for delicious bbq and drinks. Great stay!

Great spot not too far from Yellowstone.

Loved the property and the area. Spent 3 full days in Yellowstone. Wish we had about 4 more. Too much to see in only a few days. Cabin was just what we needed. Very clean and comfortable.

Fall break getaway

We had a great stay at this property! Our family of four, two kids age 9 and 7, were very comfortable. The house was clean, quiet, and had wonderful views. It was a great location for shopping in Livingston and for making a day trip to Yellowstone. We also were able to take a fly fishing trip just a few miles away. Thanks for sharing a great place!

August vacation

We stayed at this house last year as well as this year in August. The house was very clean and comfortable. We thought that it was the perfect location. Far enough out of town so it's nice and quiet and so nice to sit on the deck and relax. We would highly recommend staying at this house.

Fantastic!

This is our second time staying at this cabin. It was fantastic again! Very clean and amazing views. Perfect location for fun restaurants, fishing, kayaking, and of course Yellowstone National Park! Comfortable beds and pillows. Easy access to the cabin and great communication. I have to mention again the fantastic views!

Lifelong Friends Meet in Emigrant

One of my lifelong best friends and I met in MT to fish and stayed at John’s place. We couldn’t have been happier with the cabin and location! It was very clean, individual heat in each room, nice TV! Perfect for our needs! All the best, Mike & Kevin

Best location

Centrally located, so it’s easy to get to fishing, hiking, dining, groceries, national forest, and Yellowstone Park. Cabin has everything you need for cooking and grilling,and a wonderful deck with great views of the valley. Plenty of towels and soaps. Good tv and air conditioning a real plus. This is my second year here and I loved it. Feels like home. I give it and A+ rating.

Beautiful!

Our stay was wonderful! Views were unbelievable, wildlife, fishing and more! 15 minutes or so up the road is a beautiful canyon (Yankee Jim) we did see an eagle perched a top a tree scanning the river for fish. We had a deer in the yard/hillside every night. I think she was patiently waiting for us to leave! 😊 Most of our stay was 100 degree weather, we still seen plenty of wildlife everywhere.

Montana birthday getaway

The cabin was wonderful-well designed, very clean, great location. We loved it, and the deck outside was great for resting and star gazing. For anyone reading this review…we strongly urge that you drive with great caution if driving at night. The wildlife are large and quite mobile. We totaled our rental car when hitting a moose in the road. The Key Montana team even gave us some great advice on transportation options. This property and location was a 5-star experience!

Wonderful accommodations!

We loved our accommodations! Exactly as listed, close to numerous activities and the north entrance to Yellowstone. Nice unexpected surprises like a gift packages of coffee and peanut brittle. We loved the deck and grill which we made good use of, although a couple days were rainy and windy so we didn’t use it as much as we would’ve liked to.The beds were very comfortable, the washing machine and dryer were handy-even some laundry soap was supplied. Such a nice touch! The kitchen was adequate for our needs and since we did eat most our meals in, we were able to enjoy more shopping and other activities, like the nearby hot springs! We are already talking about a future visit! Thank you John and Jamie!
