"We loved the hotel! Its location and views are absolutely to die for. I could have spent our whole trip in the pool just taking in the views and enjoying the serenity. The staff were amazing. We did make one mistake , when you check in they offer you half board at 20 euros a person for a 3 course dinner but you have to do it for your entire stay. We opted not to and ate at several other restaurants which did not have the views , the service , the ambience or the quality of the food at the odyssey. So don’t make the same mistake we did!!"

"We enjoyed 14 days with our entire family - 11 total including 3 grandkids under 5. The villa is exceptional and the hosts were wonderful and readily available if we needed assistance. We'll look to return on a future trip to Kefalonia!"

"Panos and his wife wet were excellent hosts. They were very friendly and most helpful. The room was cleaned every day, had a small but adequate (for us) tv and a lovely, quiet air conditioning unit. A 5 minute walk or 10 minute stroll to the harbour and the tavernas. Located up a little bit of an incline but I managed it well enough even while carrying a weeks supply of water for 2 and I’m 68."

"From the moment we arrived, I knew we had selected the perfect place for our stay in Kefalonia. Our host was warm and friendly, the apartment was clean and beautiful … with an amazing view! And the village of Agia Effimea offered the perfect combination of restaurants and stores without being overly touristy. The host lives on site and takes great care of the property. In the backyard she has a beautiful garden and she sent us home with the sweetest tomatoes you will ever taste."

"We had a wonderful stay in the ground-floor studio at Ballas Apartments. The courtyard is amazing, and the views looking across Agia Effimia harbour are absolutely incredible. Stavros was an exceptional, genuinely helpful host who went above and beyond at all times to ensure we had the best holiday. Location-wise, it’s ideal—we easily drove to Assos and Fiskardo in around 40 minutes. The drive from the airport is straightforward, but a hire car is essential for exploring. Highly recommend this lovely place for a stay in Kefalonia!"

"MIKRO Villa was really really great. The place was very well furnished, clean, modern and well located with just a few minutes walk into town. Able to park the car right outside the villa every day with no trouble whatsoever. It wasn’t quite warm enough to use the plunge pool but, had it been, it would have been a perfect touch. The outside area is great with loads of areas to sit and lie in the shade, or not, and we took advantage one night of the gas BBQ ..with delicious pork chops from the local butcher. Kostas couldn't have been more helpful, there when we needed him. Agia Efimia is a lovely harbour village with plenty of good, varied restaurants and bars and very smart. (don’t miss the lamb cutlets at THE LOCAL ). We visited several other villages on the coast nearby and this was definitely our favourite. 100% recommend staying here!!"
