The apartment is located in the historic center of Lisbon, in the neighborhood of Sao Cristovao and São Lourenço. The apartment is on the 1st floor of an eighteenth century building which was built after the earthquake of Lisbon in 1755 and was renovated in 2011\. These works were carried out as part of an architecture. The apartment has a good light and comfort. It has wireless Internet available, and even cable TV. Here you can take a Nespresso coffee or enjoy a good bottle of Portuguese wine. This area is very close to the São Jorge Castle (10 minutes walk) and the same distance the river and the Bairro Alto. It's very central as it is in the heart of the city. It is very near Rossio Square and Figueira Square. It is 1 minute from Rossio subway station and a car park. It has many means of transport available right next door (metro, bus, tram and taxi) and the different trade, including a mini-market. The apartment is in a great location, perfectly situated between Lisbon’s main neighborhoods.There were occasionally some homeless people outside the building, but they never interacted with us or caused any issues. The unit also got a bit warm during the heatwave, but we expected that given the weather and lack of AC.Overall, it was a fantastic stay and a big part of why we loved Lisbon so much.
