Top Liphook Hotel Reviews

Bear Hotel Havant by Greene King Inns
10/10 Excellent
"Lovely hotel, excellent food with great service but I dont think the Manager liked me. Gave me that impression. "

Wotton House Country Estate Hotel
8/10 Good
"OK, this is a lovely hotel in a lovely setting. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff were generally friendly and helpful. Three minor niggles:
1) While the staff were friendly and helpful, there weren't enough of them. Service in the bar and restaurant varied from slow to non-existent.
2) The car park is too small for the number of guests.
3) On the day I was there, there fire alarm must have gone off at least five times. As the hotel was still standing the next morning I assume this was a fault.
So, not perfect, but would I stay there again? Definitely."

Harbour Hotel Guildford
2/10 Terrible
"Awful hotel, grubby, old and in need of a revamp. So disappointed as was looking forward to this stay. "

The Langstone Quays
2/10 Terrible
"Room was clean but dated. However I was bitten by bedbugs on the first night. Management had the room checked over and reckon that bed bugs were not detected. Checking a room in a couple of hours for bugs that had already had a good feed would not reveal anything. As a health care professional I was far from impressed. The bites were confirmed by my GP when I returned home. Erin in reception was amazing and supportive. Duty manager took some persuading to move me to a different room.
Hallways had worn, threadbare carpets that posed a safety risk for trips and falls.
Breakfast was acceptable. Dining room staff were lovely. "

Meon Valley Hotel, Spa & Golf
6/10 Okay
"Nice hotel. Lovely room. Shame about other guests shouting and using foul language outside our bedroom window before breakfast Which woke my 5 and 8 year old up. Then the police turned up. But the damage was done with the comments.
My daughter was a bit upset that a light was broken in the pool and looked like it had become loose and fallen on the pool floor.
I would use the hotel again for some golf. As never managed to use those facilities.
Staff came across very pleasant and polite, helpful. Etc. mainly dealt with the front desk and the lady in the golf shop. Both very helpful.
we didn’t eat dinner at the hotel as could not find a menu anywhere. Which we could not risk with two young kids, not knowing if they would like the food. We did ask but got told it was a buffet. A buffet of what we didn’t know. "

Macdonald Frimley Hall Hotel and Spa
8/10 Good
"Lovely room with comfortable bed. Very friendly and professional staff. Could do with hot plates for hot breakfast and disappointing coffee but otherwise super breakfast with cold and hot buffet. Book a bed and breakfast room if you will require breakfast.
Restaurant food prices expensive.

New Place
6/10 Okay
"The hotel is generally okay with a nice pool and gym area. The rooms really need some love and care. We had to move to another room as the radiator thermostate (tap) was broken off at full on so we were far too hot. The new room was a much better temperature, but the loo roll holder had gone so you end up holding the toilet paper like being on a camping trip.
We had a nice meal and drink in the bar area and a reasonable breakfast in the morning.
The staff are all pleasant. The room swap was handled well."

Village Hotel Portsmouth
4/10 Poor
"Very small room, one small can of water given. £3.15 for a small can of water at the bar downstairs. No amenities to buy general bits downstairs so couldnt get water anywhere in the night.
Breakfast served very late so if you have to leave before 8 am don’t bother with breakfast. Booked pool but it was packed."

Guildford Manor Hotel & Spa
10/10 Excellent
"Clean and classy room, i personally like the more classic country manor decor. Good facilities available and the food was nice. All in all i would definately stay again"
