"Upon arrival to the hotel we were immediately impressed by the grounds and the buildings. The car park is big so there is no worry about finding a space in which to park.
The Reception staff were very friendly and checked us in without any issue. All staff were helpful and courteous in dealing with us during our stay.
Our room was spacious, well equipped with tea /coffee making facilities, an iron and ironing board, hairdryer and a tower fan which came in useful during the warm nights. The bathroom was clean and tidy.
There was a decent buffet breakfast with both hot and cold options, and the food was replenished frequently. We visited the Sports Bar for food and drinks whilst the Qatar v Switzerland game was on, service was friendly and fast.
We enjoyed a carvery meal on the Sunday evening, again the food was hot, plentiful and delicious!
We enjoyed a couple of drinks at the The Deers Hut pub which is about 5 minutes walk from the hotel. Great atmosphere there too.
We made use of the swimming pool, which thankfully, was warm. Towels are provided so no need to bring your own. You can get locker keys by swapping your room card.
Definitely a place to revisit."
