Unfortunately due to recent eruptions all guided walks to the rim were cancelled. We still managed to watch the activity from a boat trip at night and then walked up to the observatory at 350 metres on the following day The hotel was pleasant and we had no complaints. Breakfast was fine and we also had one dinner there which we enjoyed. Our verdict is a good all round hotel and appropriately rated. It is in a convenient location and they will collect you from the port. Beach is mostly sand (some rocks), but watch out for jellyfish. Walkable to town and to the volcano observatory. Our sea-view room with a balcony was small but comfortable, with a large balcony stocked with comfy lounge chairs and a table with chairs. Personnel accueillant, et un shuttle vient vous chercher au port sans l'avoir commandé.L'endroit est magnifique, la chambre mérite d'être traitée.
