Lipari Stay

Wonderful apartment in the heart of town. Close to restaurants and short walk from the main port and also 5 minute walk to the tourist boat port. Well appointed apartment , air conditioned and lovely rooftop area we used for dinner and drinks. Excellent hosts and would highly recommend this as a great place to stay

Perfect location, amazing rooftop terrace

Angela and her husband were wonderful hosts - both charming people, they live nearby and were always available to answer questions. The apartment was so clean and pretty, it glittered. We were wowed when Angela showed us the staircase leading from inside the apartment directly to the sumptuous sunny private rooftop, the size of a small kingdom - complete with a large table and an awning so you can enjoy al fresco dining rain or shine (not that it rains much in Lipari). The apartment is located just steps from the main street of shops and restaurants, just a five-minute walk from the ferries that will take you anywhere you dream of, and a ten-minute walk from the archaeology museum complex. The large bedroom is perfect for a couple and the smaller one has two comfortable bunkbeds and good closet space. We especially appreciated the welcoming bottle of local wine, and the tour of our host’s woodworking laboratorio!

Lovely apartment/a little cozy for four adults

This lovely little apartment is right in the heart of Lipari close to restaurants, grocery stores and activities that we wanted to participate in. The hosts met us at the apartment and were so accommodating in helping us to understand everything that we needed to know about the apartment and giving us recommendations for restaurants. They were very responsive when we had Questions/issues throughout the week. When we booked the apartment for four adults we saw that the second bedroom listed two single beds. We had not looked at the photographs so we did not understand that these are bunk beds and are made for children. The space between beds is narrow.... making it difficult for the person in the bottom bunk to sit up without scraping/cutting his head. However, the pull out couch in the living room was very comfortable for the second couple.

Nel centro di Lipari, terrazzo sull'isola.

Bella abitazione con ampio e splendido terrazzo da cui si gode la vista dell'interno dell'isola come della Rocca di Lipari. Collocato in centro nell'area pedonale, l'appartamento è dotato di ogni confort necessario e immediatamente prossimo a tutti gli esercizi commerciali (panificio, supermercati, ristoranti e rosticcerie). Spiagge facilmente raggiungibili (necessario un mezzo di trasporto, ma notevole è l'offerta di barchini taxi; tra le spiagge quelle di Porticello e Acquacalda). Appartamento molto grande, comodo e ben arredato. In pieno centro di Lipari, a due passi dal Corso e vicinissimo al porticciolo di Marina Corta dal quale si parte per le varie escursioni. Proprietari gentilissimi e disponibili. Torneremo sicuramente!

Très bon séjour à Lipari

Très bel appartement en plein centre de Lipari, tout à fait conforme à l'annonce. Les deux ports sont proches à pied ainsi que l'arrêt d'autobus pour qui veut rejoindre la belle plage de galets de Canneto. Les propriétaires sont charmants. Nous nous sommes sentis comme à la maison. La grande terrasse est un plus en plein centre-ville. Nous recommandons fortement cette location.

A lovely apartment in central Lipari.

The apartment is right in the centre of Lipari town, an excellent location for local shops and restaurants and as a base for exploring the Lipari beaches and other Islands. We had a fantastic week here with our three children. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay, including a washing machine which was very useful with all the swimming we did! The roof terrace is lovely with great views over the hills and we spent time there relaxing in the mornings and evenings. The hosts Angela and Armando were very friendly and welcoming. One thing to note is that because of the location of the property there was a lot of noise late into the night from the bars making it difficult to sleep well. We visited in the middle of August so expect it is quieter at other times of the year. Thank you to Angela and Armando, we had a great week in Lipari - the children loved visiting the volcanoes and swimming in the beautiful sea.

ottima scelta

abbiamo soggiornato in due per 14 giorni in questo appartamento e ci siamo trovati a meraviglia. è arredato di tutto il necessario, pulito, ha una terrazza molto grande dove poter mangiare e rilassarsi ed è proprio in centro: a pochi passi ci sono i bar/ristoranti del corso principale, marina corta e, poco più in là, si arriva a marina lunga per i bus diretti alle spiagge. i due proprietari sono persone squisite e molto disponibili; da sottolineare la loro correttezza sotto tutti i punti di vista, davvero due ottimi proprietari. vivamente consigliato. un saluto alla signora angela ed al signor armando!

Très grande surprise

Nous n'avons pas séjourné dans cet appartement car il a été loué pour d'autres la semaine que nous avions réservée. La propriétaire ne sait pas pourquoi les dates ont été changées !! A notre retour en France nous avons demandé le remboursement des arrhes. Mais la propriétaire ne répond pas. Bilan : quand tout va bien l'appartement semble agréable et les propriétaires sympathiques mais quand il y a un problème, les propriétaires ne le sont plus du tout ni fairplay. Pour cette location, attention, surveillez bien les dates de votre réservation jusqu'à votre arrivée à Lipari si vous ne voulez pas avoir de mauvaise surprise

abitazione in pieno centro, confortevole e dotata di tutto ciò che serve per una vacanza a lipari. proprietari gentilissimi e disponibili. il proprietario ci ha accolti al porto e portati fino a casa. ampio terrazzo che abbiamo usato tantissimo. appartamento pulito ed in ottime condizioni. ci siamo trovati davvero molto bene.

una bella vacanza

Abbiamo trascorso quasi due settimane nell'appartamento della Sig.a Cantorio. Ci siamo trovati a nostro agio: ampio, arredato in modo semplice ma confortevole; la dotazione della cucina è più che sufficiente, si potrebbe suggerire l'aggiunta di un microonde, soprattutto per chi, come noi, compra prevalentemente cibi già cucinati e solo da scaldare. Forse l'appartamento non è adatto a persone con difficoltà di movimento trovandosi a un secondo piano senza ascensore (due rampe di scala), comunque ha un buon rapporto qualità-prezzo. La localizzazione è ottima: una vietta che sfocia sulla via centrale (a circa 20-30 metri) dove, oltre al passeggio, si può trovare tutto quel che serve. Inoltre il porto si trova a circa 5-10 minuti a piedi, cosa che per noi è stata molto utile avendo fatto il giro di tutte e 7 le isole eoliane. In ultimo, è da citare la squisita gentilezza e massima disponibilità dei sig.i Angela e Armando Fumia.

Practical house in downtown Lipari

We are a family of four (two adults and two children) and we spent a lovely week in this apartment. The nost remarkable feature of of the house is the splendid terrace on the roof, which we used for our meals. The view on downtown and on the surrounding hills is splendid. The apartment is very central, but just a little away from the most touristic part of the main street. It is close to all kind of shops and it is well equipped if one self caters.

Ottimo soggiorno a Lipari

Ho soggiornato in questo appartamento con mia moglie alla fine di settembre. La scelta non poteva essere migliore : casa pulita, molto carina e ubicata nel centro di Lipari. I proprietari sono persone cortesi e sempre disponibili . L' appartamento ha anche un bel terrazzo da cui si puo' godere di un' ampia vista del paese. In conclusione siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti e sicuramente torneremo in questo appartamento nel nostro prossimo viaggio alle Eolie .

Die Wohnung ist toll zentral gelegen. Sehr großzügig angelegt, obwohl das Bad und das kleine Zimmer etwas klein sind. Aber sie sind ausreichend. Zweckmäßig eingerichtet mit allem, was man im Urlaub braucht. Die Dachterasse ist wirklich riesig und hat einen schönen Ausblick auf Lipari und die Berge. Durch die Überdachung hat man genug Schatten, aber auch Sonne, je nach Wunsch. Durch die Nähe zum Corso Vittorio und damit zum Nachtleben, hörten wir nachts bis ca. 2 Uhr die Lifemusiker der Bars und in der engen Gasse ging um 8 Uhr morgens das Leben wieder los. Aber durch den Hinweis einer Bewertung hatte ich Ohrstöpsel mitgenommen und damit konnten wir gut schlafen. Das kleine Zimmer ist nach hinten raus gelegen und somit etwas leiser. Die Betten waren nicht durchgelegen und bequem. Die Wohnung war sauber und trotzdem sie im 2. OG gelegen ist, war sie nicht so heiß, dass wir die Klimaanlage einschalten mussten. Alles funktionierte einwandfrei, wir wurden sogar kostenlos (!) vom Hafen abgeholt und mit dem Gepäck zur Wohnung gefahren! Die Vermieter sind super nett und sehr hilfsbereit. Wir wussten zu Anfang nicht, wo unterkommen, weil wir auf einer anderen Insel ein Hotel gebucht hatten, dort aber wegen des Sturmes nicht hinkamen. Da die Wohnung noch besetzt war, halfen uns die Vermieter, eine Bleibe zu finden! Es gestaltete sich zwar schwierig mit ihnen zu telefonieren, da sie kein Englisch sprechen, aber per Mail wurde alles sofort übersetzt und so waren sie unser Engel in der Not. Wer eine einfache aber geräumige, zentral gelegene Wohnung sucht, sich ins italiensiche Nachtleben stürzen will oder es als Basis für Ausflüge auf Lipari und die anderen Inseln nutzen will, ist mit der Wohnung bestens beraten. Ich kann diese Wohnung und die Vermieter nur empfehlen! Vielen Dank für alles!!
