A lovely hotel. Room was nice, clean and cosy with a great bathroom and shower. Big windows and comfortable bed. Delicious breakfast. 2 minutes walk from the train station. On arrival we received a warm welcome from Gwendoline who was extremely helpful and a credit to the company. She recommended a nearby restaurant and bar which were also excellent. Would definitely stay there again. Highly recommended.

The checking in process was the speediest I have encountered. No fuss, no messing about, which was great as one of our party was disabled and had a traumatic flight experience so just wanted to get settled into the room. We did not ask for three rooms together but the hotel had arranged this anyway - even taking into account that one of the rooms needed to be a fully accessible room. Fantastic hotel in this small city. My partner and I stayed here for two nights as a small stopover on our journey around France. We specifically stayed here as we were visiting Oradour-sur-Glane. I was driving a hire car, but had forgot to book parking, but the staff were so accommodating and sorted me out a parking space. The room was clean and comfortable. Lovely welcome, pleasant room, excellent service, brilliant location. We enjoyed our evening meal and a 'City Breakfast'.

The room we had was nice and spacious with good wardrobes and storage spaces. The room, kitchen and bathroom were clean. The staff were friendly. The location was good for getting into town and you could see the river close by from some rooms. Overall a great stay. I would stay again and would reccommend it.

Easy walk to terminal, so ideal for early flight. Room small, but clean and modern. Tea and coffee facilities in room would be a nice addition. We arrived about 9pm and had to wait about 10 mins for receptionist, but she was very pleasant and helpful, as were all other staff.

I personally like the convenience and privacy of an ensuite, which is the only reason Trecastle doesn't get five stars all the way. That aside it's an excellent place to stay with lovely, friendly hosts and secure garage parking for my motorbike. I will return.

Coming from England we missed the coffee making facilities, but we appreciate that they are not common on the mainland. Other than that perfect!

A most enjoyable stay in an excellent hotel. My room was spacious and very clean with the added benefit of Air Conditioning. The bathroom was very clean and well maintained and the fact that the hotel has an outdoor swimming pool was a enormous plus. The buffet breakfast could have been a bit more varied but on the whole the food was very good. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. 10/10
