"This place is a hidden gem. Tucked away in the hillside far away from the hustle of a town however close enough to go to the beaches and local tavernas. They staff are excellent always welcoming, the rooms were clean and we booked a suite with a private pool this was amazing. We loved the privacy and the fantastic view over the hills. "We had half board, payed 40 EUR per day. Breakfast was not perfect, every day same, and juices were really bad (quick mix of water and some concentrate). But dinners were delicious! "Summer Dream was the best hotel we could ask for. It was extremely modern, great view, and the town of Rethymno has a wonderful downtown area. If you go, I recommend Achinos, I believe it is spelled. The best food we had in Greece. Summer dream is also located next to many markets including SKYNKA, which is walking distance. I would absolutely recommend staying here. It was the best part of our trip in Crete. "

"All okay very difficult to find how the key box worked I think that should have been explained a bit better. If it hadn’t been for a very kind taxi driver not sure what we would have done. Also it would be an idea to supply a further settee as only four can sit unless you sit on the upright dinner chairs. And the closest beach is a very steep slop and not big. The next beach is really taken over by tu customers. Didn’t realise the complex was so close. Also really you need a car. Which we didn’t want. But the villa itself is perfect. Clean and tidy. "

"Inadequate cooking facilities and the smallest and most difficult and awkward bathroom imaginable. The spaces were all cramped and difficult to maneuver. The front desk is advertised to be open all day and into the night, but good luck finding staff actually there at any time. The heat doesn't work and the bedding not adequate for that when it gets cold at night."

"We had an amazing stay- highly recommend. The properly was beautifully presented, clean, excellent air con (which was needed), beautiful shaded area poolside and all very comfortable. In fact the location exceeded our expectations- it is literally 3 mins walk to the beach and there are loads of restaurants, a few bars and good numbers of shops and small supermarkets to choose from/ all in 5 min walk. It’s rare that a listing says things are a short walk but this was absolutely true- we loved it."

"The property was exactly as the photos portrayed. The house had every amenity you could think of from juicer to children’s knives and forks. The owner was super attentive to any questions we had and gave us some fantastic restaurant suggestions. He came and cleaned the pool early every morning and rearranged the furniture Never heard him once. If you like walkability, this place is perfect. A four minute walk to the new and modern supermarket. And that is also the center of the town. The beach you could hit with a stone, a steep walk down to the beach, but paved steps down. There were also inflatables to use and a beautiful welcome basket upon arrival. We are recommending this place to our friends and would return. Lastly, the village was perfect for a family vacation about a dozen restaurants, a cute port, but nothing too crazy. The town of Bali a 10 minute taxi ride away has more nightlife if you need that."

"The apartment matches the description and the photos. It is well set up, with everything you need for your stay. There are 2 AC units, one in each room, with a door that can be closed between them. The patio has shade all day and a nice view of the pool. The pool is well-maintained, and perfect for families, with several depth options. The apartment is a great base to explore the area. It takes about 15 minutes to walk into town (1km), where there are lots of dining and shopping options. "

"Wave Villa - is set in a beautiful location just a few minutes drive from the very sweet village of Panormos with lovely restaurants and stores.There is a local Mini Mart where you can get most supplies for the Villa which is just a 5 minute walk away.The Location of the Villa is so beautiful right by the ocean. The sunsets and sun rises are exquisite. The Villa itself is perfect in every way, from the comfy beds, nice clean bathrooms, beautiful furniture. The out door space is amazing and the pool so beautiful. The Villa is fully equipped with everything you would need to make a great meal. Its so beautiful there you almost don't want to leave.Dimitris the Villa manager is wonderful and so incredibly helpful. He took such good care of us. Especially on the day we arrived as we had some delays and didn't get to the Villa till 8:30pm. He drove me to the grocery store and got us a fabulous table at a restaurant overlooking the ocean, all on our first night. Thank you Dimitris for taking such good care of us. You made our stay above and beyond. we will definitely be back.We met the owners of the Villa on our last day and they are also so lovely and took very good care of us. Thank you so much for everything you did to make are stay a truly memorable one. We are so grateful to you all."
