The hotel rooms were definitely older style , a bit old fashioned and tired looking but it was clean with a great river view. The bathroom was basic and could do with an update but again was clean . We had an issue after having a bath that the water came up through the floor drain and flooded the bathroom floor. It was difficult to get anyone to answer the phone but I found a cleaning lady on the corridor and she was very helpful and called maintenance for us . Everything was cleaned up and towels replaced. The hotel bar was lovely , pretty flowers on the windows made for great photos and the cocktails were delicious. The local docks behind the hotel were also lovely to wander around with great v eating places. All in all I would recommend the hotel and would stay again but it would be nice to see some updated rooms.
