Perfect Cozy Getaway
This was our absolute favorite stay in Ireland. The views were just stunning! It is the cutest and coziest little cottage. The bed was comfortable. The little fire stove was perfect for the evenings. The grill was an awesome extra amenity. It was easy drives to Giants Causeway (about an hour) and to the beaches and to the mountain as well. It was the perfect getaway. It’s easy to get groceries at the shop nearby.

A Gem
Gillian made our stay warm and hospitable. We stayed at the Garden Cottage and it was well appointed and had all the features you could hope for. A beautiful and bucolic location, this clean and charming cottage is tranquil, private and relaxing. My cell service was a problem but Gillian went out of her way to contact us and make our check in easy. Her website and informative App is phenomenal - she has thought of everything. We are already planning our return, the location is perfect, and it’s one of those places you want to keep secret for fear you might not get a booking next time 😉 however, it would not be fair to share such a great place !

A comfortable, memorable stay
An amazing stay for a couple of days, the cottage is well-kept and was a real home away from home. We made use of it as friends on a road trip, which it was fantastic for. I suspect it would suit couples wanting a relaxing getaway even better still. The property was clean, tidy, and very well looked after. I appreciated how mindful the owners are of sustainable living (and also appreciated how incredibly comfy the bed was, especially after some cancelled flights chaos that made my arrival day very long!)
Gillian was very welcoming, and was reachable by message for the few questions I had - though everything was well-communicated from the check-in process to making use of a few things in the house. The provided app guide was very useful too, and we made use of some local restaurants and beaches we'd otherwise not have known about!
The property is rural and car access is most ideal for guests, though there are a couple of shops and a train station within a walking distance. The area is stunningly beautiful, with Binevenagh mountain gracing the view right outside. This added to the historic cottage charm (and only one minor head bump on the low door frames!) My phone connected to Irish networks several times due to proximity to the national border - not an issue for me, but maybe noteworthy for anyone without data roaming.
An altogether lovely stay. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again, or recommend to someone else.

Idyllic
Spent two very enjoyable days in Cissy's Cottage at Ballymultimber Cottages. The booking was very smooth and on arrival everything was all set up for us. The location is beautiful and the cottage was everything we imagined it would be. Warm and comfortable, it was a wonderful, relaxing break. Highly recommended

Comfortable Cottage
The barn is a lovely three bedroom cottage with an open plan lounge and kitchen in the heart of farmland. It was warm, comfortable and perfect for our needs. There’s a supermarket less than a mile away and great walks along the coast and up and around Benivenagh on the doorstep. We were visiting family in Derry and it was a pleasant drive around half an hour to the city. There was a generous gift of pancakes, a cake and milk waiting for us which was a kind touch. Highly recommended.

A beautiful location
This was our second time staying here. The main reason we booked this trip was due to their high hygiene standards give what's going on at the moment. We knew the house would be spotless and it didn't disappoint. The Barn has everything we need for a very comfortable stay. The welcome package is much appreciated. Gillian couldn't do enough for us. There is so much to see and do in the area. We had a very active few days and we still haven't seen half of the attractions around. We'll definitively be back. Thanks for keeping the cottages open
die Wirtin wahr sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Die Lage der Unterkunft ist toll und überhaupt ist das Cottage sehr zu empfehlen . Wir hatten dort eine sehr schöne Zeit.
From the moment we arrived, we loved the cottage. We stayed in the barn and the photos don't do it justice. It's much more spacious. It was so clean and had everything we needed for our stay. It really exceeded our expectations. There are little touches like a Nespresso machine. The beds were so clean and comfortable. Gillian was so lovely as well. We visited the giants causeway and Roe Valley Park. We walked around the walls of Derry. The beaches are gorgeous and there is so much to do in the local area. We will definitely be back.
We booked Ballymultimber cottages for January 2019 for 4 days and contact with Gillian previous was appreciated regarding local area if required.
On arrival Glenn arrived and let us in to cottage named “The Garden”. Glenn showed us how to work the heating and the code for the Wi-Fi which is free -bonus for our grown-up children. The standard of these cottages was excellent and first class. Thank you for the personal touches of handmade soap, the welcoming basket of bottle wine, butter, pancakes and milk was very much appreciated.
The log burner was a bonus as when lit it was very cosy at night. There was a starter pack of peat and firelighters and if required you could get more off Gillian and Glenn – nothing was a problem. I am originally from Limavady and bringing my family back to stay in such a beautiful cottage with great views of Bineveneagh -every morning the view was breath-taking.
We visited the Viewpoint on Bishops Road and Benoe beach – we ate at The Coast in Myroe and The Classic in Limavady – food and service excellent. We also had great night out at Banters pub in Limavady.
We will return if you will have us in the future- next time we will come in summer time so we will be able to use the barbecue – January not the weather for it.
