"Such a wonderful place to stay in GL! The cabin is the perfect mix of old mtn charm & modern aminities. The host has thought of every necessary detail making it very comfortable & easy. We loved spending time on the screened in porch every morning & evening visiting & watching the lake. Great location just steps from town and the public beach. I hope we can return! Honestly we felt lucky to have been invited to stay in such a historic, lovely home and at an amazingly reasonable rate."

"The location of the lodge was great. Everything within a short walk (grocery store, many restaurants, and the lake). The place was clean and even though there wasn't anyone at the front desk, after a quick phone call, someone was able to help us getting into our room. The room was nice, however, there was only one queen bed in the front room and the back room had a full sized bed (not 2 queen beds as stated on the website). Overall a good experience."

"We just had time for a quick 2-night stay in Grand Lake and were looking for something quiet and comfortable. We really enjoyed this place. Small but roomier than I expected. The living area was perfect for the two of us. We enjoyed sitting on the patio or in the room on the sofa with the patio door open while listening to the river flow just a few feet away. I believe the sofa was an extra bed but we didn't need it. We didn't really take advantage of the kitchen, but it was fully stocked with dishes, utensils, etc. Fridge didn't have an ice maker but there were several ice trays with fresh ice made waiting for us. The location was perfect. About a 2 minute walk to the main street to grab coffee in the morning then continue our day walking around the town and down to Grand Lake. Adams fall is a short drive away and RMNP was less than 10 minutes to the entrance. Maureen, the host, was always responsive and her pre arrival instructions were very thorough. If you're looking for a quiet place for a couple, I definitely recommend this spot."
