"Stay was lovely, just some odd elements which were a bit strange! Make sure you arrive in good time to check in early, and double-check what the morning process is for leaving - main pub remained locked and egress was through the rear fire escape - noone in sight so left key in room. The room was lovely - really well laid out, roomy, and clearly well-thought out; lots of little things that made the place really nice. Weak spot was the bathroom - doesn't have a proper door. Shower was also dirty...

"Last minute booking. Host was incredibly accommodating with a late check in and some food on arrival. Nice, big double room with en-suite and good facilities. Excellent breakfast included in the very reasonable price. Accommodation was enough to M1 to be handy for commute, whilst also being out in the countryside and a very picturesque spot. Would stay again. "

"The property was better than described. The facilities were ideal and extensive, especially the swimming pool. It was just what we needed for a rainy weekend away with ages ranging from 5 to 70. All the bedrooms were a good size with comfortable beds. The bathrooms had good showers and plenty of hot water. The kitchen/family room worked really well meaning we could all be together. Stephanie replied quickly to any queries and was very helpful. We would definitely return."
