The property and house were very nice. There was plenty of room in the house and everything you needed for your stay. The property is beautiful. There are deers coming in through out the day, birds and beautiful wildflowers. The pond is nice. We met the owners Linda and David and they were super friendly. We will definitely come back. It is a great location and there are many things to do around the area.

Wonderful clean space. Perfect for our family visit. Clean and spacious.
The house was a perfect space to enjoy the time there. The layout accommodates adult and kids perfectly. The property offers a great opportunity to be outdoors and explore and well as see the wildlife fairly up close. We saw five deer while there.Everything was very smooth to check in and check out. Will definitely stay there again if we go back that way.
My family of 4 needed a place to stay while visiting my in-laws for Easter weekend. This 3b/2b house exceeded all expectations. I have stayed in many VRBO rentals, and this was one of the cleanest I have seen. The firesticks on each TV was a bonus! The beds/couches were comfortable and there was more than enough space for my family of 4. We could've slept 6, if needed. Each morning we woke up to find a hill of bluebonnets at our door complete with a family of deer and ducks all at our front porch! The kids were thrilled. The house is tucked into a gated community very far back from the main road, so it is very peaceful and quiet. We will absolutely stay here again and I recommend it to anyone looking for a place in Liberty Hill.
I selected this property for its location near the eclipse totality path (April 8 2024), and dual-purposed a visit to see family in Austin. I was very pleasantly surprised by how serene the property is - wildflowers and wildlife abound here! The owner of the property puts corn out in the field to attract deer and ducks, and you can see them up rather close each morning and evening.
The interior is also very accommodating, with 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a full kitchen, and a living room. The WiFi was fast and no trouble, and the furniture was comfortable.
We had a couple of chances to meet the owner, and he's a very kind man. He even came out first thing in the morning on my departure date to jump-start my dead battery so I could start my long drive home without a long delay. This saved us from what could have been a very hard day!
We were fortunate to see the full 4 minutes of totality from this property, and it's a memory we will always cherish. If you are interested in visiting Austin but would like a serene space to enjoy in the mornings or evenings, I would highly recommend Grizzly Acres!
What a magical place with amazing hosts. Having coffee on the porch, watching the deer, ducks, cardinals and other wildlife just made the mornings so special. The country cabin feel made us all feel at home and brought my wife back to memories of her childhood. We cannot wait to visit again!

I hade trouble downloading app but I had quick response and communication wich made it a smooth check in despite my trouble. They were very helpful.Enjoyed seeing deer. My only feedback is maybe a different bunkbed would accommodate guest better. Maybe a full size on bottom w twin on top. It’s a very small room but it was a comfy mattress. Overall we enjoyed our star. Maybe a tv in the second bedroom would be nice.
