We are not happy at all. The hotel is very old yet pricey. Every corner of our room smells old and the air conditioning is horrible. We're made to endure the remote third floor room during our stay. We are never going back to Matabungkay Beach Resort. Not even if they pay us to do so. She just wants to give me a hard time. She said we are not allowed to use hotel facilities-water activities because they have 3000 hotel guests who already reserved them and will be in use all day...not apologetic at all..more like flaunting it..oblivious that we too are hotel guests and are entitled to same amenities. This is not a 3 star hotel..more like 2\. While we were there several corporate outings took place with loud karaoke drowning out any sense of peace and quiet. We cut our stay short to look for something more peaceful. We booked a suite but not a single window offered a view. We might as well have been on Mars.
